Time flies. It’s been two months since I last posted something here, it was August 30th. I don’t quite know where to begin, there’s so much to share… If you read my previous post, my kids were starting school. I was full of anxious excitement, thinking “finally, I’ll have time to focus on work again.” But two days later, I broke my left pinky toe. That was August 11th. Sitting on the sofa, couldn’t work, so I started reading a book called The Artist’s Way.
Thank you for sharing Bonnie, so beautiful and inspiring. I too have difficulty "letting go" and the creativity feels as though it often "dries up" because I'm so contracted. Thank you for the new perspective... sending hugs
I love the idea of creating more art, while being more present and writing daily. I feel like my creativity has hit a dry spot as well, and maybe I need to trust the timing and be open to taking a chance on something new. Thank you so much for sharing.
First, I feel you. I could easily write 10 pages of complains and woes, and I'm also all about control in my work. I've never heard of The Artist's Way but after googling it I laughed cos it's obviously a very popular book lol. I added it to my wish list. I actually quite enjoy writing but I've had a hard time getting into a habit with it. Sounds like this might help.
I also did the artists way in 2021 and found it to be totally life changing! It’s a radical way of life to live in surrender to the process after a lifetime of exerting control and scheduling in hopes of feeling validated. Your words completely resonated with me. Thanks for sharing!
Loved reading this!

Yes, try it. :)
Hi Bonnie, you are a visual artist, but what is more is that you have a way with words. I think you should write books. :)
Thank you, Sarah. ☺️
I’ve been seeing the work you’ve posted on Instagram lately. Your video art is very strong.
Thank you!
